I styled the bedding for my child's room to welcome early summer✨ Since my child gets hot easily, we practically use the quilted comforter as a floor mat... Because my little one sweats a lot, I switched to a cooling fabric half a season early. ❄️ Doesn't Duralon come to mind first when you think of summer bedding now? I've used various summer bedding options, from seersucker to natural materials, but since I started using Duralon bedding last year, I felt like it was a whole new world. The patterned side is made of allergy-care fabric, keeping it clean and dust-free, and, true to summer bedding, the plump yet lightweight corn fiber provides just the right amount of coziness. I also liked that the corn fiber filling prevents the bedding from becoming sagging and allows it to fit beautifully. Most importantly, the lining is treated with Duralon fabric, a cooling material that feels cool the moment it touches, so even my child, who gets hot easily and dislikes heavy comforters, sleeps soundly all night long. With a combination of allergy-care fabric and cooling Duralon fabric, I think this is summer bedding that can be used with peace of mind in households with children as well as pets. 🧼 Tip for long-lasting comfort! Wash in cold water: Duralon, a functional material, is vulnerable to heat! It is best to wash in a laundry net on the wool cycle in cold water and air dry. ✨ Styling & Mix-and-Match Know-how Since the bedding features a blue dot pattern, I styled it with Drop Drop Drop Clover curtains to add a refreshing summer vibe. I was worried that the combination of blue and green might be too much, but once arranged, it created a color contrast that felt better than my existing warm-toned curtains :) I added a touch of wit to the cool-looking blue dot duvet with black dot pattern pillowcases, and provided a sense of rhythm with large patterned curtains. The IKEA butterfly lamp serves as a focal point between the duvet's blue pattern and the curtains.
