After much deliberation, the item we finally settled on for our home is none other than floor mats 🤍 When we moved into our new house after having a baby, one of the things I agonized over the most was the flooring. ✔ Should I lay down roll mats? ✔ Should I use floor mats? ✔ Should I just do the living room, or should I do the hallway as well... I really agonized over it for a long time, but to start with the conclusion, it’s an item that makes me think, "Why didn't I do this sooner?" 🥹 At first, I only considered the living room, but once my son started crawling, he would run around every corner of the house all day long, falling down and bumping into things repeatedly. So, I eventually decided to go ahead with floor mat installation for the entire living room, kitchen, and hallway! And even now, after using it for over a year, I am still very satisfied and using this parenting item well 🤍 What I particularly liked was that the atmosphere of the house itself looks much cleaner! We installed a bright color for our house, and because the floor looks bright, the space looks wider. Even with the kids' toys scattered all over, it looks less messy than I expected haha. I'm also very satisfied that it doesn't lift up or slide around like roll mats do! Above all, what I'm most satisfied with is definitely the noise between floors 🥹 These days, my eldest is running around all day long playing with a ball... If I hadn't laid this down, I think I would have been conscious of the downstairs neighbors every day 😂 Raising two sons, I realized there's a reason people say that if you're thinking about neighbors, you have to use a construction mat or live on the first floor haha.
