Our son is still 2 years old. This child's room is still used only as a play area, because our child still sleeps in the main room. What we like about this child's room is the color that comes from all the toys, because other areas in our house are dominated by white. Our favorite item in the child's bedroom is the IKEA BESTA cupboard which was converted from a TV cupboard into a cupboard for storing toys. The majority of the furniture used in the children's bedroom is from IKEA, which was brought over from our furniture when we rented the house. We also adjusted the placement of the furniture to the reach and height of our 2 year old child, so that it was easy to pick up items and put them back in their original place. Our living room area has a minimalist and clean concept. We don't decorate much in this area, because the living room area is an area close to the main door which is very easy for dust to enter. The most important thing in designing this area is our comfort and ease in maintaining cleanliness. We tried to make the ambiance of the living room feel warmer by using wood vinyl flooring and using wooden screens to cover the large windows in this area. Almost all of the furniture we use in this area is IKEA brand. We deliberately used dark gray sofa covers because the living room area sometimes becomes our children's play area. So choosing this gray color can minimize stains from toys or dust. Apart from that, there are handmade carpets from Nagarey which are suitable to be combined with our furniture. Our dining room area is open space, integrated with the living room and kitchen. The way we design the dining room area is by matching the color tones between the living room and kitchen areas.
