There's a small washbasin & glass shelf in that area✨ We looked for a washbasin cabinet that was no wider than the width of the side wall. So, this is a transition area that connects the living room area with the private area. Initially this area was actually open, but during the design process we decided to make a hidden door so that private areas such as rooms & bathrooms could be somewhat 'hidden'.
