Our overall home design concept is Japandi with some vintage elements. White tones, natural wood brown, black line and field accents. Of course, because it is in a tropical climate, we maximize the openings in this house and a fresh touch of green from ornamental plants that unite the entire space. We chose this style because we prefer simplicity and want to create a villa atmosphere. The choice of white wall paint as a canvas, combined with furniture materials that are mostly natural wood with simple shapes and black iron elements, gray sofa fabric is still around the derivatives of black and white as decorative elements and textures. Our family room is the most frequently used area for gathering. Simple layout with 3 seater sofa, 1 rocking chair inherited from our great-grandfather, 1 bean bag, and custom Japandi style TV table. All combined with abstract gray patterned carpet. Decorative elements and added comfort such as pillows with different motifs, iron shelves for displaying my husband's vintage collection, plant pots and also lamps as ambience for the afternoon and evening.
