Dream kitchen at bearylion is still a work in progress. So the kitchen here is only temporary before being demolished, it doesn't use a kitchen set. But I want a table top material that is groutless and easy to clean, seamless. The cheapest choice falls on solid surface.
For a minimalist kitchen without a kitchen set, one way to overcome this is with lots of storage and hangers, and of course by only having the necessary items.
