Hello Sunshine! My greeting is in accordance with what I want to share now, namely making skylights in the area behind the house which was previously empty land/back garden which we renovated ourselves to create an open space kitchen area with skylights. The initial selection of skylights is one of our ways of low energy, especially the lights in the back area. The skylights used in this duanama house use tempered glass as the main material. Our idea of using skylights will beautify the concept of our home because we can see the sky during the day or night directly while cooking. Because we also like it when the rain comes, we hope it will be beautiful if we can directly see the rain falling from inside the house. We also chose this choice of tempered glass because we obtained some information that it makes minimal noise when it rains. When we started this renovation, we also looked for a lot of inspiration for using skylights on existing home accounts and Pinterest. This is how we got this house, without comparing housing prices around here we were already happy to buy and build this house, because we were interested in the offer given by the developer about changing the total layout and upgrading all material specifications. So with the agreed price by means of KPR we only need to add upgrades to the specifications, while the construction is ongoing while we save for the upgrade specifications. My tips for maximizing a room are using furniture that suits the size of the room. Such as choosing a sofa that is not too big, and also having to minimize items so that it is not too crowded with furniture. Add more cabinets to store things to make it look neater. I don't use room dividers in this house, because I think if there were room dividers, my house would feel narrower, so I left the house open. This room with an open space concept is one of our favorite rooms in this house. The living room, dining set & kitchen set combined make this area feel very spacious. The place we usually gather, play, chat, eat & cook together. We are filling this room slowly. We reuse old furniture that is still in good condition, such as this blue sofa which is a witness to the changes in this house. We bought it from the moment we lived in this house, until the house was finally renovated, this blue sofa is still durable & good to use. We also used the area under the stairs to place the TV cabinet. The TV cabinet that we deliberately chose is one that matches the colors & vibes in this room. The addition of a standing lamp next to it also makes a more aesthetic impression. The presence of a ceiling fan makes this room feel cool during the day and night. So there is no need to add air conditioning for a room this large. Diningset is also our favorite. This Japanese style dining set makes the room feel warmer.
