• Practical and Durable Renovation Materials • Hello, O!House friends, when renovating the kitchen, I used cast materials for the dining table and kitchen table, with a cheap and cheerful 60x120cm granite tile finishing. Because it is used in many places (kitchen table top, top surface, front and sides of the dining table), the use of granite tiles can be saved. Cast materials are quite practical because they only use the services of a builder (who also renovates the house) so that they no longer need to pay for materials or interior labor. Permanent (cast) kitchen and dining tables with strong finishing also prevent the surface from being damaged quickly, thus saving maintenance costs or replacement costs. • Kitchen-Dining Room Material • Hello O!House friends, the kitchen in my house is integrated with the dining room with a table made of cast/concrete and a granite tile finishing measuring 60x120cm. For both tables I used the Sandimas brand, Statuario Grey type. For the backsplash, I used a mermaid/fish scale/fan shaped mosaic tile in white. My kitchen set cabinet uses Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) material with plywood doors with a black HPL finishing (Taco TH 205 B - Asian Beech). I don't use handles but only finger groove accents. The walls match the overall interior of the house, using the Catylac brand in Seamist color. As for the floor, I chose rough textured ceramics with a terrazzo motif from Platinum, Dexter type, measuring 50x50cm (matte). The details are 60cm for the kitchen table, 1 meter for the path/access that separates the kitchen table from the dining table. The dining table itself is 80cm wide. • Dream Kitchen Story • Hello, O!House friends, Himfari's House kitchen was renovated in 2021. Here are my considerations in making your dream kitchen come true: - kitchen layout adapts to existing space: kitchen is in line and integrated with dining room; - kitchen table top and dining table made of cast material and finished with granite tiles which in my opinion is low maintenance; - kitchen backsplash using ceramic mermaid tiles (this is really my wishlist 😍) - simple kitchen cabinet without ornaments or handles (just a finger groove accent to open the door/drawer); - kitchen cabinets use ACP material because it is durable and termite-proof; - the height of the top cabinet doesn't reach the ceiling because I don't like climbing ladders to get things; - there is space to display my tumbler collection.
