Having a spacious room was our dream before the renovation. When the architect offered an open space concept, we immediately agreed and requested a high ceiling. So this open space room measures 6x4 meters with a ceiling height of 3 meters and 7.5 meters (the ceiling height is not the same because it follows the shape of the sloping roof of the house). For the sake of sleeping comfort and long-term health, we finally decided to use a divan after previously the mattress was only covered with carpet. Choosing a divan floor that we adjusted to the Japandi theme in this room. We also didn't forget to replace the mattress, then added a bedside table beside it and put a bedside lamp on top of it.
