Best buy items for living room decoration with a budget under 500k ✨
1. Desk Lamp
One type of decoration item that can create a livelier room vibe is a table lamp, without having to turn on a big, bright lamp. In the first21.haus living room itself there are 4 desk lamps; Ackja (nickel lamp from Ikea), macaron lamp (made from orange glass & stainless steel, this design is my favorite because it is elegant), portable mushroom / flower bud lamp (very popular and has 3 colors), and Akari lamp (simple and suitable to be placed anywhere either on the floor or table).
2. Posters
Wall posters are also one of the items that "color" the room so it is not monotonous. Because of the play of colors and certain patterns. Most of the posters in the living room are custom and if you are bored you can look for more inspiration on Pinterest to request a new poster order according to your wishes.
3 Carpets / Rugs
Recently I'm trying to replace the carpet in my living room so I don't get bored. It turns out that choosing a white and green checkered board carpet really helps make the room atmosphere brighter & livelier. The price is also affordable (under 500k). And the second carpet is the rug in front of the mirror, a genuine goat hair carpet that has gone through a chemical process. Not too thick but warm enough on the feet. With a price under 100k, I think the appearance of this carpet is attractive, raw and exotic 👌🏼
4. Indoor Plants (real & artificial)
Indoor plants can always beautify the corners of a room as long as they are chosen correctly and placed close to light and air. In the living room there are asparagus bonsai plants, mini monstera tetrasperma, broken bones and Janda Bolong herbs. I also added artificial bamboo plants as a divider between the mirror and the kitchen cabinet.
5. Pillows & Cushion covers
The pillowcases in this room were deliberately chosen to have attractive patterns and colors so that they could combine the dominant mustard yellow color of the sofa and coffee table bases. Namely from Tesammans Ikea which has a stripe pattern and an interesting color combination that I never thought of before, then terracotta colors with knitted material, and furry knitted pillows with cute tiger motifs.
Tips: decorate the room with your favorite aesthetic items and make it more functional, we focus on 2 points:

So that items can be displayed to show the style of the room, you can use open shelf shelves. We chose custom teak wood shelves and wall mounted shelves which are very affordable and can be obtained from Ace Hardware, the arrangement is flexible and the bottom is still enough for us to put an air conditioner cooler and in the future we hope to be able to add a turn table on top. Don't forget to always take measurements before buying or customizing furniture.
- focus on selecting items that suit the style of the room so that they will be in harmony with the theme of the house. Apart from function, this can be chosen in terms of materials (such as glass, wood, iron, stainless etc.), then design from items (from color, motif and shape pattern). These things can also usually determine the quality and durability of goods.
