Greetings from the in-line kitchen at my house. From the start of building this kitchen, my husband wanted to use a cast table because it would be more durable and sturdy. To make it more aesthetic, like using a table top. I used the middling technique when installing granite tiles as the table top. With a cast table length of 2.4 m, I think it is quite functional because I don't cook large quantities. To match the theme of the house, I chose an HPL wood motif combined with white. Equipped with a kitchen island with lattice accents, it adds aesthetics and functionality as an additional preparation table as well as a dining table later. The full ceiling cabinet is very useful for storing kitchen items. The kitchen theme in my house is Japanese, I used this theme because from the start I wanted to use a timeless theme that matched the tone of the whole house, namely neutral shades, access to wood, white, cream, brown, ash. The tiny kitchen in my house is located under the stairs. So the space isn't big either. The kitchen concept is deliberately in line with a table length of 2.4 meters but a full ceiling to accommodate a lot of storage. Arranging the kitchen layout is very important because it determines the direction and process when we cook. At the far right, I placed the refrigerator for the initial process, namely taking the cooking ingredients, followed by the kitchen sink for washing the ingredients, then the stove for the cooking process. There is a small space for preparing/cutting between the sink and stove. Apart from that, I also use the kitchen island to add space and a serving area after the food is cooked. For maximum lighting when cooking, I use the main room lights and additional LED strip lights on the kitchen set cabinet. It turns out to be very helpful, especially when cooking at night. To make it neater and more aesthetic, I use a storage rack for spices, sugar, salt in matching colors. I combined it with artificial plants too. When renovating our house yesterday, to be honest, our budget was limited. Even to fill the furniture we have to be patient again to save. But, I'm sure as long as there is the will and confidence, slowly the furniture in our house will start to fill up, like the island table which I also use as a dining table. If yesterday there was only a table, now there are chairs, Iam so happy to be able to enjoy the process of filling the house. Marhaban Yaa Ramadhan and Happy Eid Al-Fitr to those who celebrate. Because every holiday our family goes home to East Java.
