This is the latest living room formation after I bought a new table lamp 🛋️ I moved the palm-shaped lamp that I usually put next to the TV to the back corner of the room to fill the space. I put the new (but used) table lamp on top of the console table so that the area next to the curtains isn't too crowded and difficult to access. I've wanted to have this model of table lamp for a long time after seeing it at a club while I was working, but only now found a color that I like. I am very grateful to be able to have my own apartment, especially to find an apartment that matches my decorating vision. I deliberately looked for used apartment units in old buildings, because I think old apartments tend to have bigger space and are cheaper than newly built apartments. After several surveys of a number of apartments, I just felt that I was suitable for the apartment I live in now. Even though initially this unit had not been renovated at all, I felt that this apartment had the potential to be a comfortable and suitable place to live for me. That same day I immediately decided to continue the process of purchasing this apartment. A little entryway moment ❤️ I wanted the entrance to give a sense of what's coming once you step into the house hence the monochromatic look—the shoe storage has been helpful as it is thin and fits a lot while the artwork adds a focal point while still fitting the color scheme. #AestheticHome #RumahEstetik #HomeStylingInspo

The dining area in my apartment is right in front of the entrance and is integrated with the living room. Because of that, I wanted to create a dining room that was functional and not too formal. Apart from eating, I also use this dining table for work and activities. This table was custom made with inspiration from a table by Milo Baughman which has mirror legs with a glossy finish. The glossy surface is also found on the vintage 70s chair that I painted black—the back and arm rest of this chair make working at the dining table more comfortable. Most of the accessories in this dining room are also vintage items, including a 70s era glass chandelier and also a Thai version of a film poster that I bought in Bangkok some time ago.
