✨ Facade ✨ My house is located in a densely populated residential alley on the border between East Jakarta and Bekasi, and the width of my house is only about 5 meters minus a little bit. Therefore, I can't explore too much for the construction of the facade, the important thing is that cars can enter the yard freely, plus during construction the funds were quite minimal, so the facade of my house is rather simple, ehehehe. The height of the front ceiling was deliberately raised, so that when there is a road elevation, my house is still quite high. The ceiling was deliberately used up to the front, because it is not possible to build a support pillar in the middle to separate the terrace and garage space if there is a difference in the length of the ceiling, again due to limited land, so that cars can freely get ready when parking, because the road in front of my house is really close to one car, likewise the position of the windows which are deliberately tilted also for the same purpose. In front of the door I deliberately used patterned ceramics to make it more cheerful, while in the car parking area I used plain textured ceramics so that it is not slippery because the area is made sloping due to the difference in road volume and the height of my house. In the very front I deliberately used paving blocks with soil and sand underneath without being cast as a water absorption area. In front of here, a mini dry garden was also deliberately made which can also be used to sit when wearing shoes because it is not possible to put chairs and terrace tables here, therefore I have a backyard at home, for a place to relax and sit as a replacement for the terrace and front garden that I cannot build here. The small changes we made to this living room were the installation of WPC wall panels and the addition of wall shelves for decoration so that this room is not boring. After the installation of the wall panels, the atmosphere of this room became warmer due to the color & wood motif on the wall panels. ✨ Introvert House Fence ✨ Yes, I'm a real introvert, the most awkward when meeting neighbors, so when I built this house I wanted a high fence, even though I've lived here since birth because my mother's house is next to my house 🤣🤣🤣 Because the budget was limited and I like simple things, finally a fence like this was made, with white paint and white fiber coating. Because my house is right on a sloping road, the level of the house is higher than the road in front of it, so this fence looks really high from the outside, even though from the inside it's just normal height. We made a folding fence because the front of the house is full of fences, so there is no space if the fence is pushed straight, unless using a curved rail, because our house is in an alley that only fits one car close together, so the preparation for parking the car must be with a wide opening. It is not possible to use a curved rail because our garage and terrace are made on an incline, so the fence is just folded. It's okay, even though it's minimalist and looks simple, this fence feels sufficient and suitable for our house which has a minimalist concept. ✨ Child-Friendly Children's Room ✨ The children's room in this house deliberately does not use a bed frame, because it is not necessary and so that the children are safer if (God forbid) they fall when sleeping or playing on the bed. The mattress we use is a springbed in a box that is soft enough so that the children are comfortable and easy for us to carry upstairs because the stairs in this house are not too wide, then equipped with a fur blanket that is not too thick to minimize the possibility of SIDS, which can be caused by dolls or blankets that are too thick. We attach wallfoam to the corner of the bed to reduce impact on the child. For the granite floor material, I also use non-glossy granite, so that it is not slippery. We deliberately use a plastic cupboard in this room so that it is safer for children and to anticipate the possibility of moisture and termites, but we still choose a cupboard that matches the theme with a white color so that it is cleaner and more aesthetic. We also choose children's toys and equipment that are safe for children, but the color must still match the theme so that children are still happy with colored items but the room still looks neat and beautiful. The white paint in this room is deliberately glossy, so that it is easier to clean when the children scribble on the walls, even though I have taught them to write on paper since early on.
