Kitchen journey👏 I really like the Japandi clean concept for this kitchen area. Although it has not been renovated on a large scale, but I chose furniture that has a Japandi concept as the key to realizing it. Choosing this ready-to-use kitchen cabinet is my option because of the limited budget and fast time so it is more efficient in the current conditions. Initially there was only 1 upper storage cabinet, but the kitchen still looked messy. Finally I decided to add another upper wall storage cabinet, so that the dimensions are the same as the lower cabinet. Not only that, the storage has also increased. (Journey to) my dream kitchen ✨ Creating a dream kitchen is a journey that involves many steps, from imagination to realization. For us, this process is not just about choosing furniture or paint colors, but also about creating a space that reflects personality and lifestyle. The first step in this journey is to gather inspiration. Because we prefer a minimalist look without too many items visible on the surface. The Japandi concept that we chose, with a touch of wood motifs on the furniture adds a warm impression. After the inspiration is gathered, the next step is to set a budget. It is important to be realistic in determining what can be achieved with the available budget. I learned to prioritize, decide which elements should be the main focus, and which ones can be saved without sacrificing aesthetics or quality. Although part of this kitchen is still original from the developer, we feel that the ceramic wall material and the concrete kitchen table are sufficient to meet our current needs, but due to limited budget readiness, for storage we added ready-to-use furniture available in the marketplace, luckily there is ready-to-use furniture with a design that is close to what we want to display in this kitchen, besides saving budget, this step also saves time in realizing our dream kitchen. The most important part of the kitchen is its layout. We arrange the layout to facilitate our mobility in the kitchen in our daily activities. Tips if the budget is limited for upgrading the kitchen, besides the kitchen set, you can consider using ready-to-use furniture for storage in the kitchen if you have extra area, of course the selection of this furniture must also be of high quality so that its service life is long. The kitchen is not only about appearance, but also about how the space is used. After finishing, I felt the joy of using this new kitchen. ✨ Small kitchen, the ultimate solution! My kitchen is small and the main storage area is separated in the wet kitchen. But I still need a functional space for daily needs and of course, it still has to be pleasing to the eye 😄 📍In the main area: I rely on multifunctional shelves and hidden drawers to store cooking utensils, plates, and small items. I arrange everything so that it is easy to reach and remains neat! 📍In the additional storage corner: There is an open shelf that is home to the oven, spices, and dry snacks. Underneath I store rice and kitchen speakers (yes, because cooking while listening to music is a must!) 😆. I use the other cupboard to store the rice cooker & magic jar, hidden but still practical.
