✨ Lazy Room ✨ Why do I call this lazy room area? Because this is where our family is lazy, hehehe. The place where we lie down while reading books, scrolling through social media, or snacking, sometimes we can actually fall asleep here 😂 This area was previously the area with the most identity crisis because it was just a place to put children's toys and unused items, finally I changed it into a cupboard and bench to relax. It is located in the living room, so this bench is also an additional sofa when there are many guests at home. For the wooden cupboard, I customized it at a carpenter near my house, with Dutch teak wood material coated with HPL to save budget, the price is around 3.6 million. For the bench or sofa, I used a rather hard foam so that it doesn't deflate easily, it was also customized on e-commerce with its cover, while I bought the pillows at another shop. For the shelves, as usual I use natural varnished Dutch teak wood material and curved black iron brackets, so that it matches the other shelves in this house. Because my house is not too big, I always use the walls as an area to put things and displays because it is not possible to use another cupboard, for fear that the house will feel too full. The final touch is to add LED lights and other lights to expose the displays. With a budget of around 5 million, finally the living room area under the stairs is more functional ✨ #lazyroom #livingroom #minimalisthouse #homedecorideas #homedecoration #home #aesthetic #understairs cupboard

🎀 Living Room Styling 🎀 The living room in my house is quite spacious, because it carries the concept of open space and mezzanine, so it must be decorated with items that are pocket-friendly but do not make it look empty and monotonous. Because there are only 2 rooms in this house, I deliberately used a sofa bed in the living room so that it can be enlarged into a bed when there are quite a lot of guests staying. Because in this living room there is a fairly large space under the stairs, I made a cupboard under the stairs with a bench to add a guest seating area without having to buy another sofa. For the decoration, I added a standing mirror with a fairly large size so that it looks luxurious and can reflect a wider shadow, also don't forget the touch of an artificial tree next to it. For the table, I made the legs at a blacksmith near the house using hollow iron and the table top uses granite. To beautify this living room, I also added displays such as aesthetic vases and some warm white lights to make the atmosphere warmer. The walls in this living room use wall molding with gypsum material, then I also added wall decor that I made myself. Because I'm bored with white granite on the floor and don't have a budget to install vinyl or spc, I got around it by installing a large carpet so that it can cover almost the entire floor of this living room. #livingroom #MinimalistLivingRoom #Wallmoulding #Sofa #Sofabed #Bench #StandingMirror #WallPaint #Carpet #LivingRoomStyling #LivingRoomDecoration #LivingRoomInspiration

🎀 Low Budget Materials 🎀 Having only a minimal budget but dreaming of having a beautiful, aesthetic, but also functional house, makes me so detailed in calculating the price of the materials that I will use. After looking for references and also looking for replacement items with a lower budget, finally this is what the living room in my house looks like. My under-stairs storage cabinet was customized at a carpenter on the side of the road near my house, I chose Dutch teak wood which is quite strong but the price is below other materials, then coated it with HPL because duco paint is quite expensive, I also bought the handle myself on e-commerce so that it suits my wishes and the price is affordable, don't forget to give a touch of motion sensor lights underneath to make it more luxurious even though the price is cheap 😌 I deliberately made this storage cabinet not full, so that I could make a bench to sit and relax instead of a sofa, because my living room is quite spacious. I bought the foam, cover, and pillows myself, to save money compared to having to order them from a furniture store, ehehehe 😅 For the first floor of my house, I chose to use glossy granite from the beginning of construction and have not replaced it with vinyl, spc, or the like that are currently hyped, because I think it's not urgent and the budget has not been prepared, if I get bored I just change the carpet to change the atmosphere, and the carpet in this living room is also very cheap 💸 Instead of using wooden wall molding, I prefer to use gypsum list to reduce the budget, also using fairly affordable wall paint. For the door, I use meranti wood material, because if it were teak wood, it would definitely be very expensive 🥹 I am also still sticking with this 4-year-old sofa bed, because it still feels sufficient and I don't have the budget to buy a more proper sofa, psssttt the price is only 1 million, you know 🤩 Even for the table in the living room, I bought the materials myself. The table top uses 120x60cm granite which is then cut into 100cm and the legs use painted hollow iron. The total price is cheaper than buying a similar table that is ready-made. Actually, almost all the materials and decorations in my house are low budget, because the concept of this house is like that; beautiful but low budget. I want to influence my friends not to be afraid of having a beautiful house, a beautiful house is not always expensive, as long as we are smart in choosing items, are willing to bother looking for substitute items, and are willing to learn to mix and match so that it is pleasing to the eye. Let's upgrade the atmosphere of the house together to be more comfortable and beautiful 🩵 #LivingRoom #MinimalistLivingRoom #Custom Cabinet #Bench #Sofabed #WallMoulding #Glossy Granite #WallPaint #LivingRoomTable #CoffeeTable #RenovationMaterial #CheapMaterial #AffordableRenovation

🔆 Home Transformation 🔆 February 2019 I first occupied this house, it was still plain with minimal furniture because the budget had been drained for its construction. Slowly we started to fill it with electronics that were really needed and furniture at cheap prices. Under the stairs, this used to be a TV table spot, but because my child turned out to have ADHD and had to fast from screen time during therapy, the TV was stored, leaving only the table with educational toys that were always messy every day. My kitchen also used to use a regular gas stove that was placed on top of a metal cabinet that has now been modified with white paint and a closing door so that it doesn't look messy. In the past, colorful furniture was clearly displayed in the kitchen, but now all the brightly colored items have to be hidden, which actually can make your mood better 😌 In the past, I was in denial, I was so sure I could garden in the back garden, pick my own vegetables, but it turned out that my back garden lacked sunlight and was very humid, then over time it became like a forest because the plants were messy and dirty from splashes of soil every time it rained. The choice of paint color in this garden also made the garden a bit dark. Now my back garden has become a dry garden that is cleaner and brighter 🔆 Having a house doesn't always mean you can immediately fill it with what you want, I; it took more than 6 years to make this house as comfortable and beautiful as I wanted, although it was not optimal because the budget was limited. It's okay to take it slow, as long as you enjoy every process, and everything will be a story in the future 🫶🏻🌸 #minimalisthome #beforeafter #kitchen #backyard #UnderStairs #UnderStairsCupboard #Bench #Garden #BeautifulKitchen #MiniHouseTour #MyHomeStory #HomeTravel
