Bathroom Renovation Journey
In the past, our bathroom was still very simple, using a large bathtub to hold water. But because we wanted to be more practical and modern, we finally decided to renovate the entire bathroom, including adding shower facilities. We did this renovation at the same time to separate the bathrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors to be more functional according to the family's needs.
Bathroom on the 1st Floor
The size of the bathroom on the 1st floor is quite small, only 1 meter x 3 meters with a height of 3 meters. Although narrow, we maximized the space by installing a sitting toilet and sink in a corner that does not interfere with movement. The shower is also added with a glass partition so that the wet and dry areas remain separate. The selection of neutral-colored floor and wall tiles gives a spacious and clean impression to this bathroom.
Bathroom on the 2nd Floor
Unlike the 1st floor, the bathroom on the 2nd floor is slightly larger, namely 1.5 meters x 2 meters with the same height, 3 meters. We chose a squat toilet here to better suit our needs. We still added a shower for practicality, but without a sink because of the limited area. This bathroom is more often used for quick activities such as taking a shower before bed or just washing your face.
This renovation really changed our experience in using the bathroom. In addition to being more modern, the division of functions on each floor makes everything feel more comfortable and efficient.
