If you close the front door towards the workroom, it becomes a temporary door. There are often situations where the front door needs to be open when installing electronic devices or when the technician visits. In such cases, I put the cats in this room and close the door. It is nice because the children can see outside through the gap in the slats and look around without being scared :)
