Muji + Ikea combination

I don't know why I wake up earlier on weekends, but I make and eat a lot of food from the morning. I'm the busiest person in my family.🧤

My second cozy house full of my tastes! I basically wanted the house to have a warm and cozy nest-like feel, and I surrounded it with wood, but added points with rugs, lighting, and plants. I think 50% of the atmosphere is lighting, 30% is color and material, and 20% is layout ✨

This is the living room and kitchen of a 16-year-old, 20-pyeong villa. Since remodeling was a burden for a rental home, I created the atmosphere using furniture and accessories rather than construction. I prefer a natural and comfortable vibe, so I chose a color combination of wood, green, and white. I think the atmosphere follows to some extent just by getting the color combination right!

I tried to make the most of the space in my studio apartment by using a living and dining table.

Back to the center of the table for Rummikub with friends🤩

This is my table life ☺️ Since it is a duplex structure, the upstairs is used as a bedroom, while the downstairs is simply furnished with a table. Here, I read books, catch up on unfinished work, write in my journal... and invite friends over for meals and drinks 😊 Even though it isn't a spacious area, I can still spend my time beautifully and happily!

The living room where the vintage blue sofa is always the focal point! I tried to make the house as white as possible and use colorful furniture and fabrics to give it a focal point. The dining table is a bit big in the small living room, but I think a table is better than nothing. Most of the furniture and props were used before we moved in, so I’m very attached to them and can’t seem to let them go. Hehe.

Living with two cats (Anna & Sui) has significantly increased our clutter. Our house is small, so I told myself I shouldn't add any more stuff, but imagining how happy the cats would be to get new toys, I ended up with this haha. They play hunting games by jumping over the sofa, table, and even the bed and cat tree (not visible in the photo) as if they were stairs! I think almost every piece of furniture in our house has become a toy for our masters... but let me introduce a few of my favorites :-)

This is the living room where the indirect lighting installation is complete. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to install the curtain box lighting.😭 I plan to try doing that myself later!

Curtain pleating complete. The existing wrinkles did not go away, so I took it down again, ironed it all, and pleated it. After 48 hours, I took it out.

Hello. We are a family of three, married for 7 years with a 3-year-old boy. We moved a total of 4 times from getting married to moving into our current house. Before moving into our current house, we lived in a jeonse (rental) house and lived at our in-laws’ house, and we were eagerly waiting to move into our own house. Our house is a typical 24-pyeong (approximately 65 square meters) apartment built in 1998. When we purchased this house, we had the intention of doing a complete renovation and moving in as a turnkey, so we bought it 3 years ago. We considered and reflected on the inconveniences of living in a jeonse (rental) house next door, and finally realized that dream with today’s house.

My child saw the cleaning lab advertisement and said she would like to come to our house. When I asked why, she said she thought it would be hard for mom to clean. Thanks to my wonderful daughter, I was able to tidy up with passion and vacuum again and again.✊🏻
