While I love my living room, I’m always debating if I should redecorate it from scratch. 🛋️🪑 There’s so much inspiration out there that it’s so easy to get swayed left and right. By rearranging with things I already own, it gives me another chance to figure out what I’m missing or not missing. In this case, I took the TV out and moved my big plant to the console. And I’m so happy with how it turned out! Sometimes all it takes is another look. 😌💕

The most indulgent item in my home would be the media console. It was one of the first furniture items we purchased as we were furnishing our first apartment together and we bought it on a whim 🤭 I knew I wanted a midcentury wooden console and when I saw this at the Pottery Barn outlet store where they sell staged or returned items, I couldn’t pass it up. We didn’t even necessarily know if and how it would fit into our apartment lol. Safe to say, it fit and it’s become the center piece for styling our living room!

The aerial view is one of my favorite ways to show our living room! The windows are great but they’re sometimes distracting. This view brings out the cozy warm tones so nicely 😌💛

Favorite Thrift Finds 2️⃣ - Nelson Bench This is such a versatile piece that can be used as a coffee table like how I styled it here or a bench for extra seating or decor. I scored this off of FB Marketplace for such a good deal! If there’s a furniture item I want, I always look for secondhand options first.
