I really like fruits! I especially like eating seasonal fruits. They taste good, but I feel like I can feel the season with seasonal fruits. Figs are in season these days, right? There were so many delicious figs at the fruit shop in Germany~ I bought all the leftovers and made French toast with them.

1. Cut the fluffy whole bread into bite-size pieces and use a bread knife to cut the bread so that the milk soaks in well.
2. Mix 2 eggs, 100ml milk, 50ml heavy cream, and a little sugar and salt and mix well.
3. Soak the bread and leave it in the refrigerator for half a day. (You can do it right away without soaking it, but it tastes richer if you soak it!)
4. Toast the soaked bread in butter until golden brown.
5. If you want a crispier texture, bake it in the oven once more!
6. Sprinkle figs, sugar powder, and maple syrup on top and it's done 💓〰️
