5/25 (Thu) Layout from a while ago🤏 It's nice to have the bed and work desk facing each other.

The studio is growing here and there. Maybe it's because the work is growing... But I haven't left anything unattended. I'm organizing each and every corner so that I can work comfortably and use the space efficiently. The last picture is Posiraegi, who is always curious about her mother's room.

The main room of the apartment! Most of what I own is second-hand, but the IKEA table and couch from Article were both purchased new.

These solid brass frog candle holders were a thrift store find at $7.99 each. I always look at every section of the thrift store because you never know where you might find a hidden gem. Candle holders are not something that I am usually seeking out, but I couldn’t pass up this pair.

In a small space it is nice to have compact, versatile and interesting storage. A corner cabinet has a small footprint, and next to the dining table serves as a liquor cabinet. Old wooden chests have character, can be moved around and look good at the foot of the bed. If your room doesn’t have a closet, an attractive wardrobe gets the job done. Unlike a closet, a wardrobe has a top on which you can store more items, or you can put some plants.

With limited space, it can be challenging to incorporate items for pets that add to a cohesive aesthetic, and that don’t take over a whole room. While cats tend to make themselves at home wherever they please, I like providing mine with special places to hide or lounge that appeal to their nature. A window hammock allows the cats a high perch, and to look at neighbor cats outside. I put a sheepskin rug over this hammock to make it softer. A wool nest provides a safe and warm place to take a nap. I like that it is made out of natural fibers and has a whimsical shape. Of course, the most prime real estate is the bed with a ray of sun shining in the window.

My apartment is filled with many plants. Some of them I have had for many years. One of them belonged to my grandma, and is older than I am. Another one of them is an avocado plant, grown from the pit of a store-bought avocado. I try to keep them happy and stay attuned to their needs.
