This is the hallway of my house :) Unlike in Korea, Germany doesn't have a designated space to take off shoes, so people usually store them in the hallway. In my previous home, I used an IKEA TV stand as an audio cabinet, but after moving to this house, I've been using it like this to serve as both a shoe bank and a storage unit. (I really didn't want to put anything in the hallway, but my shoes just wouldn't stay organized ㅠㅠ) On top of the shoe rack, I keep miscellaneous items like earphones and keys in a wooden bowl I bought at a flea market. I'm also using a candle holder I bought at IKEA a while ago as a decorative object :) The plant is also from a local supermarket, and it's growing really well. Oh, and since it felt a bit too white, I always keep my frequently used Marimekko eco-bag there. The pattern is so vibrant that it prevents the hallway from feeling boring. Next time, I'm thinking of installing a hanger to hang my favorite bags :)!

Finally upgraded the shoe rack too 😁 Previously we kept a shoe rack in the stairwell area but because it was quite a hassle having to take it to the stairs every time we went, we finally upgraded the shoe rack and kept it in front of the entrance 😅

I replaced my messy shoe cabinet with an IKEA shoe cabinet. There was a dining table next to the microwave stand, so it took up a lot of space, but after replacing it with an IKEA shoe cabinet, the space feels much more spacious.

This is the entrance. I plan to place a black and white Yankee Candle warmer on top.

Minimalist foyer, in the entrance area of the house. To put on shoes, there is also a mirror to see your appearance before leaving the house. Nothing fancy, but functional. What could a NARROW CORNER be? One of the narrow corners of this house, precisely in front of the entrance. What is used is a more functional space. I placed a minimalist shoe rack so that it still blends with the decoration of this room. I put a vase which, because it looks like a "container with a lid", can be used as a temporary storage place for things like watches, vehicle keys, etc. There are also decorative vases with artificial flowers, and indoor CCTV cameras. It's really easy! 1. First measure the shoe rack or clothes rack that you want to cover with rattan 2. Prepare a bar frame according to the size of the shelf 3. Prepare rattan whose size has been adjusted to the shelf cover that will be attached 4. Glue the rattan to the frame 5. I believe everyone has their own aesthetic standards. For me, an aesthetic room is a room with matching colors. both from the color of the furniture and the color of the lights, thus creating a 'vibe' in the room. For example, this Khisaku living room, even though there are 2 different spots, we still chose matching colors so that it is comfortable to look at and in accordance with our aesthetic standards. In this room we also chose more yellow light to give a 'warm' impression even though the furniture colors we chose tended to be monochrome which usually gives a cold impression.
