A breezy afternoon living room

These days, I like to keep plants on my desk Since there isn't much light, I put them away for a while and then put them back where they were 😅 instagram.com/fall.home

Our house faces southwest, so it gets sunlight from 1 PM until sunset. To be honest, it does get quite hot in the summer, but since my previous house was east-facing, I simply love that the sunlight comes in all day long, creating a languid and cozy atmosphere in the afternoons.

The long sunlight that falls at 4-5 PM, and the shadows reflected in the sunlight✨ Happiness point*_* Since it is a house facing west, I put the plants in a place where the sunlight comes in well during the afternoon sunset time.

The magic of moving the bed to the window makes it cold right away. ㅋㅋㅋ I even changed the bedding to make it feel like spring. It's made of allergy-friendly material, so you can use it without worrying about dust, and the silky texture makes it comfortable to sleep in. I really like the pattern that makes it stand out even when matched with other covers! 🧡💜

The bedroom must be like a hotel! I decided to fill the sleeping space with nothing but a large bed to lay our massive bodies on and lighting. Due to the nature of my job, I travel for business more than 12 times a year and have had the opportunity to stay in a variety of hotels spanning Europe and Asia. I wanted to recreate the feeling of a hotel bedroom where one can fully rest in a cozy space after an exhausting day. I toned down the wallpaper, flooring, and background colors, built a partition wall to serve as a headboard, installed indirect lighting, and added practicality by installing light switches and USB outlets. I considered creating a symmetrical structure, but felt it might look cramped in a bedroom in the 20-pyeong range, so I added an asymmetrical variation by using different bedside tables and pendant/floor lamps on the left and right.
