The first vintage piece of furniture to arrive in our home was a bentwood chair from Akita Mokko 🪑
Once, my child accidentally poked a hole in the rattan backrest, but we decided against having it repaired because it held family memories.
Even if we were to part with the chair in the future, I wanted to preserve that kind of unique family memory, so I commissioned this paper-cut art piece from illustrator Miwao Sei 🖼️
It has a charming, flat yet three-dimensional feel, and I absolutely love the adorable picture 💡

The dining room, with its Mogensen table and chairs, is just perfect.
The water pitcher is a Mario Botta TUA, and the chopstick rests are the same ones used at YAUMAY in Marunouchi that I found and bought.

The living and dining area hasn't changed much.
Or so I thought, but when I got home, I was surprised to find a new chair had been added without me noticing! lol
Sorry, it's an unknown chair so it doesn't have a tag yet. I'll add one once I find out what it is. 🙏🏻
