It's a strange room; I feel like I've grown accustomed to it, yet there are moments when I feel it's somehow brand new.
I've softly divided the space according to its purpose, and I've actually been conscious of the balance of each angle I focus on.
From the furniture to the decorative items, plants, and lighting arrangements. The key is to create a layout that feels intuitively right while maintaining a sense of contrast.

When I'm making the sofa space, I'm conscious of the feeling of being surrounded when I sit down. It's nice to have a feeling of openness all around, but I also value the comfort of leaning your body into a gap that feels a little cramped.

I like the sight of a lot of cushions scattered haphazardly on a slightly larger sofa.

This is one of my favorite views from this room.
What I am careful about is the density balance.
Indirect lighting is effectively arranged while creating a contrast between dense and sparse areas such as ornamental plants and miscellaneous goods.

It doesn't seem too noisy when you look at the whole room.

By loosely dividing the room and storage with greenery and sofas, we are trying to use space without wasting it.

It's good to live a minimalist life where you're conscious of your free space, but lately I've been thinking a lot about how good it would be to live a "maximal life" where you can pack in all the things you like.
Regardless of taste, antique, vintage, Scandinavian, Showa retro, mid-century...the only thing that all items have in common is a sense of something good about them. Just doing that will bring it all together ◎
