This is the living room in my 1LDK apartment.
I hated the three sliding doors because they looked too cluttered, so I covered them with a tension rod and a custom-made, thick lace curtain from Nitori.
The color scheme is unified with white and gray, and I've mixed Scandinavian and Korean styles with my favorite decorative items as accent colors.
Pic 2 shows me in the process of installing the cushion floor sheet!
I used white masking tape on the baseboards.

A summer morning spent on a cluttered sofa, iced coffee in hand, doing whatever I like.

It's a strange room; I feel like I've grown accustomed to it, yet there are moments when I feel it's somehow brand new.
I've softly divided the space according to its purpose, and I've actually been conscious of the balance of each angle I focus on.
From the furniture to the decorative items, plants, and lighting arrangements. The key is to create a layout that feels intuitively right while maintaining a sense of contrast.

I changed the fitted sheet to pink, but the matching duvet cover hasn't arrived yet, so I used an IKEA duvet cover instead 🌿 ܸ

Two and a half months after moving...
I made a Japan-style room in a 1K room by making good use of the walnut floor
I was conscious of the uniformity of the colors: white x medium brown (walnut) x black, and + green
I tried to use the same walnut color for the large furniture as the floor as much as possible (it blends in with the floor to reduce the feeling of oppression)
I used black for the metal furniture (black is a tightening color)
I added green with maple and Amsterdam king (contrasting color)
By matching the rug and bedding with the white wallpaper, you can make a small room feel more spacious
When it comes to wood floors in rental properties, people tend to hide them with floor tiles these days, but I like the texture of wood and find it calming, so I tried to make use of it as it is
I hope this is helpful for those who live in rental properties

I've been agonizing over whether to get curtains or blinds for a year since moving in. I finally decided and switched to blinds! 🪟
The windows are a bit old-fashioned, but the blinds hide them, and I really like the natural, yet not overly casual, feel they create. ✨️
