Because it's the main table in the room,
I honestly agonized over it quite a bit, but a regular table just felt too overwhelming.
This room looks spacious, but it's not actually that roomy, so
creating a sense of openness was a constant challenge.
That's why I chose this glass low table.
I was quite surprised at how much the sense of spaciousness changed just by letting the line of sight pass through.
Another thing I really like is the silver legs.
Even in a room that looks cluttered at first glance, it brings everything together nicely.
It has presence, but it doesn't feel overwhelming.
This was quite ideal as a main table.
It's definitely one of the best items I found at Ohouse.

Two and a half months after moving...
I made a Japan-style room in a 1K room by making good use of the walnut floor
I was conscious of the uniformity of the colors: white x medium brown (walnut) x black, and + green
I tried to use the same walnut color for the large furniture as the floor as much as possible (it blends in with the floor to reduce the feeling of oppression)
I used black for the metal furniture (black is a tightening color)
I added green with maple and Amsterdam king (contrasting color)
By matching the rug and bedding with the white wallpaper, you can make a small room feel more spacious
When it comes to wood floors in rental properties, people tend to hide them with floor tiles these days, but I like the texture of wood and find it calming, so I tried to make use of it as it is

Even in a small space, you want it to be comfortable and stylish.
This is Otoko's studio apartment, a 5-tatami mat room.
The Koala sofa bed is truly excellent.
You can use the space more spaciously during the day and sleep well at night.
It's a great help for studio apartments.

It's an old unit bath though.
Just adding a wooden frame to the mirror so you can put a few things on it makes a difference.
It was easy to make with scraps I used for DIY in my room!

Simple desk space
I put a rug (IKEA's Stoense) on the floor so that the floor of the rental house won't get scratched if I drag my desk or chair
The chair is a vintage y chair (CH24)
The table lamp is LE KLINT's Snowdrop table lamp
The Snowdrop floor lamp is famous, but this table lamp with the same shape but smaller is very cute
The reason I chose Snowdrop is
① The pole is movable
② The shade is highly functional
(The shade part that is in your field of vision is not dazzling, but the bottom is open, so it lights up your hands brightly)
③ The shape is cute
I chose it for these three reasons
