This is the living room in my 1LDK apartment. I hated the three sliding doors because they looked too cluttered, so I covered them with a tension rod and a custom-made, thick lace curtain from Nitori. The color scheme is unified with white and gray, and I've mixed Scandinavian and Korean styles with my favorite decorative items as accent colors. A July morning. This is my favorite time of day, when the morning sun fills the room. While heatwaves are making headlines overseas, Japan has had many relatively pleasant days so far this year, and the morning air feels wonderful.
