MyFavRoom … , yessss … in the Dining Room, especially in the hand washing corner. I really like things that smell aesthetic and back to nature and I feel like this corner reflects what I want, "I really like that".
Because of that corner, my dining room looks bigger
just so aesthetic 😅. Well, this is the view at night, it's really nice to see in my eyes, you know 🤭.
My favorite things, which make them more aesthetic are:
1. Wooden hanging pot. Honestly there are 4 pcs. Since buying it, it has had various uses. Once a place for eggs, a place for spices, a place for knick-knacks. Well, now the 2 pcs have actually become hanging pots, and the 2 pcs have become lower pots and become additional exhaust boxes in the bathroom hehehe. So that the exhaust is not visible from the dining room and of course it looks aesthetic 😃😃
2. Terrazo sink and faucet, why try it? The answer is still one, namely the model is aesthetic and I like it 😍😍
3. Washbasin cupboard or washbasin table, looking for examples on Pinterest took a long time hahaha. After I found something I liked, I started looking for a stall in Jepara and someone who could make what I wanted, why Jepara? Because it has to be teak wood. Compare 3 stalls, find a stall that responds fast, but unfortunately it's on IG. So, here at Ohouse, I'm looking for a stall on Shopee that might be the same.
Favorite time spent in this room? from 8.00 to 16.00, the sun is really beautiful, I often work in the dining room on my laptop. It's very clear here.
- Are there any interesting stories filling the room? Yes, before that I didn't think about making over this corner which is attached to the dining room. Before is the corner for washing clothes with the washing machine. Well, when I was doing a bathroom makeover, an incident happened that actually happens often. The washing machine drain hose is loose from the drain hole, so the water goes everywhere. Because at that time there was still a lot of cement because of the bathroom makeover, so the vinyl floor was very dirty and the color was faded 😭😭. Finally some of the vinyl was removed and replaced with a hexagonal ceramic floor with irregular laying. When the craftsman was installing ceramics, on the wall there was a water tap from the washing machine and there was also a 2.5" water drain hole. Is it used as a place for ablution? 🤔. Since I'm thinking this is in the dining room area, why not a sink?? So, this wash basin was created and I also added irregular hexagonal ceramic tiles to the walls. How?? So it's more aesthetic, right?

I'm really liking Night Vibe in my room lately 🌙
Complete with vintage prints, it makes the atmosphere even warmer, really supports my room which is all brown and has an old school touch. Don't forget to add some plants so the atmosphere is fresh and not monotonous.

Hobby corner..
Making Paludariums is one of Paksu's hobbies.

SOMETHING IN THE CORNER… ❤️
… previously in this corner at that time there was a washing machine (mojok laundry room). Honestly, the washing machine here is a bit unsightly, especially mine 😀. The room looks cramped and less aesthetic. So, because it's close to the dining room, I tried to make this corner into a place to wash hands before and after eating 😀. The wash basin that I use is terrazzo combined with a custom teak wood wash basin cupboard or table, the wash basin walls are plastered with hexagonal ceramics in a random arrangement, as are some of the floors, then as usual I give a touch of artificial plants... what do you think? More aesthetic, right? (The last slide is the before). Natural Stone Combination ✨
Our house is predominantly white. But in the carport area, we chose yellow Palimanan natural stone as a combination or balancing tone so that it is not monotonous. We use this area for storage or a white shoe cabinet with a simple design and also green plants for a fresher feel.

Even though I'm not working now and am a full time housewife, I still want to have a work desk area at home.
In my opinion, it's kind of strange if you don't have a work desk, to this day, even if the kids are sleeping or need space to think, are busy, even just to daydream for a second, I always run to this work desk.
