➖ Low Budget Decoration
Since we first moved in, we have decorated this tiny house more with #lowbudget and #DIY.
It also happened that during the 2020 makeover, there were no products like #wallbatten #wallpanelpvc etc. So we made our own with Dutch teak wood planks which are easier to find and cheaper.
With just the capital of the home inspiration platform media, we can decorate the house according to our wishes, also more economical and pocket-friendly.
In this living room and TV room, we made the wallbatten, shelves, and #slatwall accents ourselves from Dutch teak wood which we painted or coated with HPL stickers. Thank God it's still durable for 4 years.

Some furniture materials and decorative items used to make the room look elegant according to our taste with AFFORDABLE prices include;
✨ Wood material on furniture such as round side tables (+/- 300 thousand), custom 175x70cm teak oval mirrors (550k), teak TV shelves (900k), wooden motif shelves (350k all in with brackets). To create an elegant but natural atmosphere.
✨ Stainless steel / chrome material, namely on the ikea coffee table (1.2 million is very worth it with an elegant vintage look), ikea table lamps (200 thousand), and custom wood + stainless dining chairs in the dining room (1.4 million / pcs). The silver look on the stainless creates a luxurious and elegant impression.
✨Faux leather material as a low-budget option compared to real animal skin can still make furniture elegant but low maintenance like the material of the two sofas in the living room (2-3 million standard price for a sofa but it looks expensive).
✨Decorative pillowcases that have motifs, such as box motifs or unique shapes. The colors we choose are deliberately varied to create color variations in the room (price 100 thousand)
✨Artificial plants can make a room more natural and elegant. The prices on e-commerce also vary, the sizes are also many choices. The ones we chose were 120cm for yucca & 130cm for bamboo. (Price 200 thousand)

Pocket-friendly home decoration materials!
In this TV wall area, so that it doesn't feel cramped, we decided not to use interior design services because we wanted this area to be an entertainment area that can be decorated as we wish.
A budget-friendly solution for this TV wall area makeover is to use wall shelves. A floating teak wood TV table (140x40cm) custom made at our regular woodcraft shop which costs 900,000, above the TV is a shelf from Ace Hardware which is certainly cheap. Then the 3-tier shelf uses stainless steel brackets & poles. with shelf sizes of 60x20cm & 60x40cm to store decorative items & the widest shelf is intended for a vinyl player turntable if later there is fortune 😉
Then the mirror next to the TV is also custom made at the most affordable regular mirror maker in the Surakarta area. In the form of an Arch with a height of 165x70cm made of teak wood for only 550,000. when compared to other stores, both offline / online, the difference can be quite far ☺️
If the total cost of materials to decorate this area is still under 2 million, hopefully it inspires ✨ 📺🪞🪴
