🌸 Backyard Transformation 🌸 Slide 1-3 is my backyard now, slide 4-5 is my old backyard. Previously, my backyard was a wet garden, because I wanted to grow plants, slow living by harvesting vegetables from my own garden, but it failed 🤣 The sunlight here is not very good because it is covered by other buildings around it that are higher, finally the humidity level is quite high and there are lots of pests such as snails without shells that like to eat leaves, grass can't grow well and ends up making the walls and windows dirty with splashes of water and soil when it rains. Finally, this backyard was renovated into a dry garden with synthetic grass, ornamental plants are also planted in pots so that they are easy to move, the area around the grass is given white stones to make it more beautiful. We also made wooden chairs to relax with walls covered with dollar leaf vines, and the bottom of the chair is left as soil with white stones so that it can be a water catchment area when it rains. Adulting alongside our dry garden. We realize that not everyone is destined to be successful in gardening. In addition to requiring knowledge to care for it, gardening also requires commitment. That is why we chose hardy plants when building the garden years ago. Hopefully, our minimal gardening skills will not be enough to trouble the plants we have adopted. Over time, our dry garden has grown. Becoming bigger and stronger, even with minimal care. Some of the offspring of these plants we even managed to bring into the house, teaching us to live closer and side by side with them. The appearance of our garden may not be as beautiful as it used to be.
