To welcome Eid al-Fitr, I decided to redecorate the credenza area. Here I use fresh flowers to make the atmosphere of Ramadan more delicious. This has become a tradition every year. Peonies are my favorite flower at the moment. I bought it at the Wastu Kencana flower market in Bandung City. I also added some decorations with an Eid al-Fitr theme. For the table runner, I used silk satin fabric and white tile fabric. Eid al-Fitr certainly won't be complete if there are no pastries. The area in #rumahmaknaa that has the most natural light is the ground floor, especially the mini foyer and kitchen area. Light comes from a tall window next to the foyer's mini credenza. Moreover, #rumahmaknaa faces east so that lots of light comes in in the morning. The light from the window can make photos of the kitchen area more attractive and the house brighter so you don't need to turn on the lights during the day. However, to be honest, there is not as much light coming in now as before because we have installed a canopy in the front area. The photos on slides 4 & 5 are photos of the area near the window before the tree in front of the house was cut down and the canopy had not been installed. My Home Story #rumahmaknaa was built on land that was once a peacock and balloon cage before being abandoned. This land is inherited land which happens to be located next to my parents' house. Our land area is 5x20m. But with the existing budget, we have only worked on 5x16m. Initially we thought that a house with a width of 5 meters would feel narrow, but with the open space concept in the style of a loft apartment, it turns out our house doesn't feel cramped. In filling the house, we fill slowly. We fill it with furniture and items that suit our tastes. If asked what is the style of the house? At first we felt that we didn't have a special style but over time we felt that the style of our house was Japandi Industrial. When choosing furniture and other decorations, we always choose black, wood, white and green. Even though the land for this house is limited, we still decided to build a house on this land because it is strategically located, in the middle of the city. This is our 3rd year occupying the house, there are not many changes in terms of structure and shape. But there are quite a lot of changes in terms of decoration. We did the process of filling the furniture and decorating the house slowly. At first, home decor items were not a priority for me. But thank God, slowly, one by one. What was on my wishlist was fulfilled 🥹🥹🥹. For me, home is the most comfortable place to return to after activities outside. Laundry area in the afternoon ✨ The laundry area #rumahmaknaa is in a semi-outdoor room that doesn't get rained on, but if the weather is sunny it can be exposed to direct sunlight. The size of this laundry area is small, only 1.5 x 1.5 meters, but we try to make the most of it.
