Affordable spill material during backyard renovation 🌿🌿 During the second renovation project of Ryuto House last year, we really wanted a backyard area for children's play area, family gathering and relaxing spot, but with limited funds, we thought about the right design and of course with pocket-friendly materials and decorations to make it happen. With plain walls with white exterior paint, it is enough to make this area look clean and okay to be combined with any decoration. The backyard floor, seating and planter box are made of cement plaster which is quite budget-friendly but still makes this area look quite okay. The roof is made of dowel wood which is quite cheap to add to the impression of a villa in Bali complete with a transparent roof. Some decorations that are quite cheap to make your pocket safe such as placemates, teak stairs, vases with unused wood twigs, hanging lampshades, straw hats and wooden benches that look natural. In our planter box we plant calathea which is easy to get and the price per stem is very cheap.
