• Making Dream Kitchen a Reality •
Hello O!House friends, my experience of living in Japan inspired me to create a compact kitchen that can implement "everything is within reach". With limited space, you can still create a comfortable and functional room.
A personal touch is also important in realizing a "dream kitchen". This fish scale shaped backsplash has been on my wish list since I first saw it. Even though subway tile backsplashes were trending at that time, I still chose fish scale tiles. For floor tiles, I like classic terrazzo tile motifs like those from the 1990s.
When choosing kitchen appliances, I decided it had to be black or dark gray: stove, cooker hood, kitchen sink, refrigerator. For the decorative elements, I only displayed items that are needed every day and some beautiful cans of souvenirs from traveling.
In essence, in realizing a dream kitchen, personal touch is the most important thing. ✨
