We live in a housing complex that carries a modern tropical theme, there are no changes in the form of the facade, it is still the same as the original house.
Only a little addition of a fence made of roaster material on the left side because it was a side yard that was previously not fenced at all.
And we replaced the terrace floor with cast terrazzo, as a replacement for the ceramics provided by the developer because we like the terrazzo motif and want a part of this house that uses terrazzo.
To strengthen the vibes of our tropical house, we plant a lot of plants.

This is how the facade of the house is lit at night. The use of 6 m LED strip lights makes the facade look more dramatic and aesthetic at night.
In the carport, LED lights are used with black square lampshades that match the color of the hollow iron canopy.

This is the first time I publish this area👋
Honestly, I'm not really confident to publish this, but it's okay because I think it's pretty neat like this. This area is the most messy because we don't have a warehouse yet, so we store almost all our stuff in the garage. As a result, it looks really stuffy huhu. I highly recommend to neighbors who are building a house to add 1 special room for a warehouse, because even though we often declutter, it still doesn't mean we don't need a warehouse. It's better to anticipate than to be confused later😅

Affordable materials available in our house:
1. The canopy part of the carport as a layer under the tempered glass uses bamboo slats, besides being cheaper, the appearance is also attractive.
2. The backyard because of lack of sunlight so the grass does not grow well, the alternative is we use stone, but we use split stone bought at a hardware store, the cost is cheaper than using decorative stone and the appearance also seems more in tune with nature.
3. For the kitchen toptable and backsplash using the same material, using granite tiles measuring 320x160 one sheet divided into two, the price is much cheaper than natural marble and the resistance to stains is better because there are no pores.
4. The stairs initially wanted to use real wood but after calculating the budget it was more economical to use conwood, and the results were also good like wood because there were fibers, easy maintenance.
