β Compact Kitchen
This small hallway-shaped kitchen in my house still has a Bold and Warm theme, we installed a kitchen set to make it tidier and have more storage because the space is limited.
We changed the backsplash color to white to make it brighter (previously black), we covered the granite table top with a wood motif wall sticker and also added vinyl flooring to make it more compact and match the color of the table top.
Hopefully it inspires π€

Kitchen combined with stairs β¨

This is a solution for us because of the limited land, the stairs are placed above the kitchen, for the kitchen table top in line there is a mini sink and a built-in stove
at the back there is a refrigerator and washing machine, this is to facilitate our activities and utilize limited land too π

Kitchen combined with dining room and laundry space? Of course not without purpose, this will make it easier to multitask, while washing, while cooking, you can also chat with the children when they have breakfast on school days, we made floor steps so that the dining table area is more on point, of course these steps are very safe because they are made as high as the steps, so they don't make you trip, we tried to stick tile stickers on the floor to make it look luxurious even though it's cheap.

I deliberately made this dining room and kitchen area open space because my dream is to have a bar table at home. But I didn't make a high bar table, why? Because it was intentionally made so that it can also be used as a multifunctional table that can be used to store anything. It is still a wishlist to add chairs to this table, so for now I don't use chairs (hopefully soon) hehe.
This ala-style bar table also serves as a divider between the family room and the kitchen β¨

Kitchen & Dining Area at Livin's Home β¨
When the house was first handed over, it wasn't actually this long, the length of the house was actually only as long as the sofa (just to give you an idea! π). But I took advantage of it by renovating it so that there would be space for the dining room and kitchen.
I also installed a glass door divider from the kitchen and dining room area so that there would still be a closed space (so it wouldn't smell like cooking π
), but actually this is flexible! You can open and close the door whenever needed, especially if there is a family event πππ»

Having limited land but still want the house to feel spacious, we can choose the open space concept. The kitchen that is integrated with the dining room can still be functional and aesthetic, also has good air circulation. In addition, cooking can be accompanied by someone, because the husband usually sits while drinking coffee at the dining table.

β Kitchen Renovation
The process towards a new dream kitchen can be realized in 2024.
Previously in 2016 (slide 4), when we first moved into the house, the developer's built-in alley kitchen still used shelves that were again made by ourselves, aka DIY.
The kitchen items and furnishings were still simple and many were brought from our parents' house. We did change the backsplash and granite to black, previously the developer's built-in orange color.
After almost 5 years of living in the house, we added a kitchen set to make it tidier and have lots of storage. We chose black because our previous house style was monochrome. (Slide 5)
Alhamdulillah, in this 9th year we replaced the kitchen backsplash, replaced the sink, and added vinyl to the kitchen floor to make it look brighter and cleaner.

Hello O!House friends, in my kitchen which is just a line, as much as possible all the details go into the cabinet, so it looks spacious.
1. The dispenser and rice cooker are placed at the end, opposite the kitchen sink.
2. In the top cabinet I use white containers to separate items according to type (and to make it easier to take items).
3. Under the stove I made drawers for cutlery, glasses, lunch boxes, large plates and cooking utensils/utensils such as spatulas, tongs, peelers, whisks, etc.
4. The cabinet under the kitchen sink is no longer coated (directly the floor and walls) because this is where the stock of gallon mineral water is stored. Direct access to the floor makes it easy to load gallons into the cabinet. I made the door a place to store plastic waste and a stock of dishwashing sponges.
5. There are no gas cylinders because we use PGN.

Our kitchen is very compact and tiny. Its size is only 2.8 x 1.8 meters/square. Although small, this kitchen is very comfortable and neat.
We use a closed kitchen set cabinet so that kitchen details can be neatly arranged in it. And we also try to use bright colors so that this kitchen looks spacious and airy.

There is a skylight with a pulley canopy for ventilation, so when cooking even though you are using a cooker hood, the smoke from the cooking process can come out through the glass canopy
