When we had to choose a room that was the soul of our house, we didn't need to think long, our choice fell on the kitchen. The main reason is because we do a lot of activities here, starting from cooking, chatting, washing, eating, relaxing, and so on.

Come on, let's also take a peek at the clean kitchen/dry kitchen in our house, this kitchen is quite small, only measuring 2x4 meters. Because of its small size, this kitchen is only used for light cooking. There are two kitchens in our house, one of which is specifically for exciting cooking hehe.
The choice of materials for the interior/furniture in this clean kitchen still combines white and wood motifs made from HPL which are very easy to clean.

We want to discuss styling around the kitchen in Lolla House which I call this alley senggol..
Because of the limited space area, so we decided to add storage with a custom black kitchen set and installed it along the entire kitchen area.
We also #makeoverlowbudget by replacing the white backsplash ceramic with a minimalist motif to make it look brighter and neater.
For the decoration, we still dominated the black and wood tones to keep in tune with the kitchen theme. Kitchen equipment, decorations and furniture are usually obtained from e-commerce or home furnishing stores such as #IKEA #Informa or #AceHardware

The kitchen in our house is only 3x2 meters in size, with three division areas. The first section is for electronic goods, the second area is a cooking area complete with a sink and the third area is a serving area. To maximize space, the kitchen is made with lots of storage space, so it looks clean and tidy. As a decorative item, we added a shelf as a place for spices to beautify the appearance of the kitchen. We also added 2 hanging lamps above the minibar as focal points in this kitchen.

While we use handmade Japanese-style curtains commonly called "Takeshi" it looks simple but looks good, the material is only 2 using small pipes and curtains made of light gray canvas (sewn by myself) if the total budget is less than 100 thousand 😁 very economical

This year we decided to remodel our kitchen, the previous HPL color was brighter and yellow, now we are changing the HPL to a brownish wood color so that it gives a warmer impression, without abandoning the Japanese concept.
We also changed the table part to gray from the previous light wood color
The backsplash was also changed from a square bevel to a pre-cut tile or what is usually called a KitKat motif.
We also added additional storage, namely cupboards under the stairs, because the space for our kitchen is not very large, we used the space under the stairs for the kitchen area and storage.
Not a lot of decoration, so that the kitchen looks clean.

Custom Kitchen Set Story
From the start, I really wanted to have a Korean-style kitchen set, dominantly white and minimalist. Because the size of the house is also small, we finally decided to make a custom kitchen set
This kitchen set is made from multiplex coated with HPL TACO in Ceral Gloss color. The height of the lower cabinet follows the ideal height of a kitchen set, namely 85 cm, the backsplash height is 70 cm, the rest is for the upper cabinet. The upper cabinet is made to reach the ceiling so that it can be maximized for storage.
The table top uses ivory colored solid surface material. Choosing ceramic tiles on the backsplash to give a retro impression which matches the theme of the house 🏚️
The work on this custom kitchen set took 1.5 months from survey, design, production and installation 🛠️

How do I organize the kitchen? Easy! put everything in the cupboard.
For me, who is more messy than neat, choosing a kitchen set with closed storage or cupboards is the right decision. Apart from always looking neat, it also protects you from dust and doesn't cause trouble to yourself.
Furthermore, a clean work area is a principle.
Lastly, just keep the decorations minimal or as necessary.

HIDDEN STORAGE is a must! Like in #RumahSeupil there are lots of hidden storage. There is one in the kitchen, and one under the stairs. For the kitchen itself, it looks compact, but it can fit a lot. I use the full kitchen cabinet as storage…

The kitchen is an important part of the home system. That's why I made the kitchen a comfortable place on limited land. The previous kitchen was closed and cramped. Lots of stuff because I don't have a kitchen set.
In today's kitchen, everything is thought through carefully, including the placement of items, as well as the layout for movement so that it is comfortable when entering the kitchen. The kitchen is also made semi-open so that there is lots of air coming in and it doesn't get stuffy 😅 . What do you think? Has this kitchen changed enough?

The kitchen and dining area in front, feel more spacious and bright because it is full of lighting. We chose gray so that there is a little industrial touch, but it still feels warm with the addition of wood color.
This dining area is one of our favorite places, because the view of the dining table directly to the side garden area. Its position is in the kitchen area so that it is easy to serve and also more efficient during eating activities.
Black ceramic tableware is our favorite, making the dining atmosphere feel more modern. We chose a water-resistant tablecloth, so that it is safe from food or drink spills and easy to clean.
