Welcome back to my house 😁
The main colors that represent all industrial style elements are black, white, gray and brown (wood).
The characteristics of this style are the use of natural materials, minimal decoration, and the dominance of neutral colors, because we like to hang out in cafes, that's one of the reasons we applied our home theme to the industrial theme.
One thing we like about this house theme is because it is identical to its natural lighting, seen from the fairly large window openings, maximizing natural light coming in and of course saving electricity during the day, besides that function, the large windows are also a source of ventilation in our house ☺️
Hopefully it can be an inspiration 🫶

✨ Open Space in the Living Room Hommuslim
The layout in our house is still the developer's default with a type 45 house. To make it look more spacious, we combine several rooms with an open space concept. Like in the living room area which is combined with the dining room.
In addition, the back of the house which is a service area (kitchen & laundry) we also made with an open space theme.
So that it doesn't look full, we use furniture and decorations with slim designs and matching colors.

✨ Its Movie Date
Our favorite activity during the holidays is watching films. In the past, almost every weekend we had a movie date to the cinema.
But after having lilmuslim, we never went to the cinema again 😂. Instead we brought the ‘cinema’ home. Watching your favorite film accompanied by snacks turns out to be quite fun too. Plus, if we watch at home, we can do other things while we watch. You can relax and lie down on our favorite carpet.

✨ Night at Dining Room
This dining room is located next to the living room. Because it uses an open space concept, there is no boundary between the living and dining areas.
We rarely use the dining area here. For everyday use, we often use the bar table in the kitchen.
We usually use this dining table for special events such as birthdays or anniversary dinners.
For the decoration, we keep this area simple but romantic by adding table lamps & aromatherapy candles.

✨Maximizing the Developer Standard Layout
Having a house with a standard layout made us finally choose an open space concept to make it look more spacious.
We were inspired a lot by the #japandi and #Apartemenkorea style house layouts, which even though the area is small still look spacious & airy.
To make it look more like one unit, for decoration choose neutral colors with a combination of white, black and wood. We chose Scandinavian style furniture design with sizes that are not bulky so that it gives a spacious impression to the entire room.

✨Home Theme: Japandi x Industrial
Having a house with limited space makes us like the Japandi style home theme which can maximize storage in every room.
In addition, the white & wood colors in the Japandi theme we think are very suitable to be applied at home because they make the house look spacious.
But to choose decorative items we really like industrial style decorations, black colors and iron accents. So the majority of items are black.
It seems that our home theme has a mix of Japandi style and industrial style decorations.

✨ Industrial Furniture at Home
In decorating our home, we use a lot of industrial accents. Decorations with black iron and wood accents are the hallmarks of industrial-themed decorations. Here are some recommendations for industrial-themed furniture that we use.
- Coffee Table & Corner Table: this is the first furniture we bought. The models are both derived from 2 levels so that it adds extra space for storage.
- Dining Table: We chose this table because its size can be extended and is equipped with 4 chairs. So it can be arranged according to needs
- Open Cabinets that we use as storage in the pantry.
- Side Shelves for additional decoration in the TV area
- Hanging lamps & Floor lamps with black iron accents. For the bulbs on the hanging lamps, we deliberately replaced them with LED Filament types to add to the industrial impression.
