The big inspiration for this house is like houses in Japan. A few months before we built this house, we had time to look for references during a vacation to Japan and references from Pinterest too. We saw that houses there use a lot of canopies, wooden accents, gable roofs, with a flat kamprot exterior finish (it doesn't hurt) and there is a divider at the bottom like a horizontal water line. So we adapted it to the design of our house, represented by the facade. With all those considerations and of course the budget too, this is the result! The facade of Y.A House can be said to be simple and minimalist. We adjust the facade style to the theme of the house which is simple but still looks homey. We chose the color of the facade and the front appearance of the house to be predominantly light and dark gray, so that it can be combined with teak wood and frames with black paint. Minimalist Scandinavian Facade This house was completed in 2019, and from the start it already had a distinctive vibe—minimalist, warm, and very comfortable. The Scandinavian style is felt from the combination of exposed concrete and wooden accents that keep the facade simple but still aesthetic. Plus large sliding windows with dark gray frames, it's even more modern and bright because natural light can easily enter. The front of the house has an unusual roof shape, making the trapezoidal silhouette look unique. There is a balcony that juts out slightly, so there is an interesting additional space. The garage is also open, still connected to the facade design which is dominated by conwood. Then, there is a small garden inside that makes the atmosphere even cooler, complete with a white swing that gives a very homey impression. This is not just an ordinary house, this house is really designed to be comfortable and make you feel at home. Our house facade did not change much, just adding a roaster and changing the paint to white. Replacing the ceiling using PVC so that there is a touch of wood adds to the aesthetics of the house.
