Assalamualaikum Online neighbors.. MasyaAllah.. Marhaban ya Ramadhan to all neighbors who are happy to welcome the arrival of the holy month of Ramadhan, the month full of forgiveness. Oh yes, on this occasion I want to share the atmosphere of my family's dining room during Ramadhan. Usually in the month of Ramadhan we arrange the dining room area so that it is kid friendly when breaking the fast, namely by means of a lesehan. With a lesehan dining room like this, children who break the fast can take their own food freely so they don't disturb their parents who are eating. Here I use a tatami sofa and ambal as a seat cover, so that each family member still feels the comfort and warmth of breaking the fast. Meanwhile, for cutlery, I put it in a table drawer so that the dining table isn't too crowded and full. Come share the atmosphere of your Ramadhan dining room too! 👋🥰

The House number has a changing Dining Room" because our dining table concept is like a cafe which can be placed anywhere, by using tables and chairs that are easy to lift we decorate it more easily. Our first fast is broken with mixed ice to sweeten the dish, simple but comfortable if the occupants of the house can feel that comfort.

The dining room can be said to be the most special room in our house. It is located in the middle of the house, surrounded by 3 arches and close to the spiral staircase. One of the aesthetic spots in our house ✨
We use a teak wood dining table with 2 types of chairs. Yes, the chairs were intentionally made different so they weren't monotonous, we needed armchairs as additional guest chairs. Our choice fell on a chair with a combination of rattan, apart from being comfortable it is also beautiful.
This dining room is our favorite room, a place to eat or snack, sometimes just to chat or even a "work room" because it's just as fun as sitting here.

If asked, where is the dining table? The answer: the gap 🤣
Children often wait for their mother's cooking in this area. The bar table is not really bar-like because I made it flush with the kitchen set table top. They sat, sometimes nodding off.
The view is directly into the kitchen sink, sometimes the husband just sits around chatting with his wife who is doing a cooking demonstration. Sometimes this area is also used as a food prep area before cooking.
This area is also large enough to eat with 4 people, we also often lie down in the family room.
So this bar table saves space, is multifunctional, and suits our family habits ☺️

Here it is, the dining area in our house!
This dining area is integrated with the living room and kitchen, an open space that makes the atmosphere feel spacious. We chose an island table because we usually have breakfast together here before everyone does their activities.
The island table is made of teak wood with a granite marble table top, so it connects with the kitchen cabinet.
But, this area is still a work in progress! There are still things that need to be fixed, especially the empty wall near the refrigerator that is not yet optimal.

Because the open space area at Daśa Cavana is quite small, I arranged the dining table to be integrated with the kitchen and family room. Although you could say this area is more often used for snacking than for large meals. Enough for friends who live alone or small families! 🫶
With limited land, I still provide a small garden which directly views the dining area and I maximize the direct air from outside. No “claustrophobic” club!
