This room with an open space concept is one of our favorite rooms in this house.
The living room, dining set & kitchen set combined make this area feel very spacious.
The place we usually gather, play, chat, eat & cook together.
We are filling this room slowly. We reuse old furniture that is still in good condition, such as this blue sofa which is a witness to the changes in this house. We bought it from the moment we lived in this house, until the house was finally renovated, this blue sofa is still durable & good to use.
We also used the area under the stairs to place the TV cabinet.
The TV cabinet that we deliberately chose is one that matches the colors & vibes in this room.
The addition of a standing lamp next to it also makes a more aesthetic impression.
The presence of a ceiling fan makes this room feel cool during the day and night.
So there is no need to add air conditioning for a room this large.
Diningset is also our favorite. This Japanese style dining set makes the room feel warmer. We like to gather, chat while enjoying snacks here.

Our dining room uses a wooden dining table set that is customized to the size of our room which is not too big 📏
We also chose chair cushions that can be removed and reattached so that they can be easily washed when dirty 😊🧼🍽️🍔🥗

Choosing decorative items for the kitchen set & dining set area is very tricky for us. In addition to wanting the kitchen to look clean, this area can also be comfortable for our children.
4 new things in this kitchen & dining area:
1. Chair Cushions
It turns out that adding chair cushions to the dining set can create a different vibe and the children also look very comfortable with these chair cushions
2. Hanging Artificial Plants
Bored with the previous displays, we tried adding green to this kitchen area, so that the vibes feel fresher
3. Displays/Decorations of several vases/pots are also suitable to be placed in the corner of our kitchen
4. Still with the same flower vase, but we replaced the artificial leaves with fresher colors
