Our house color palette is neutral with white walls, for the interior it has an earth tone theme. Before building the house, we had time to look for inspiration by visiting model houses. From there, we were inspired to use earth tone colors such as gray floors and wood motif floors. In addition, the interior elements are also wood and rattan. But most model houses use wood colors with 1 color theme, for example light or dark wood. Here we chose to use wood with different tones.
For the 1st floor because it is an open space, the choice of wood color is different for adjacent rooms. The tip is to combine contrasting tones; young-old then align with accompanying tones so that they continue to connect.
For example:
Living room; collaboration of old and young wood.
The kitchen has a hint of gray in harmony with the floor, medium wood tone.
Next to it is the Home Office using a hint of gray with a slightly darker wood color.
For the 2nd floor it is safer because there are partitions between rooms, namely bedrooms.
So they do not affect each other for color.

The color palette we chose in this room is different from other rooms. We combine earth tone colors with bright colors, namely blue.

The color palette in this house is still loyal to earthtone, white, light brown, terracotta and a little black on all door and window frames. We deliberately chose earthtone because our house theme is a mix of nordic scandinavian/japanese/korean home where earthtone is very dominant. The color palette for first21.haus is basically earth tones. The dominant colors are wood & white with lots of furniture made from wood and patterns and white wall paint. Then mix it with various colors that tend to suit the bold midcentury theme and are still in the earth tone category such as orange, ivory / mustard yellow, blue, green, maroon, terracotta and silver chrome.
I applied this color combination in the living room from the carpet, the color of the sofa, lamps, tables & chairs made of stainless steel to bring out silver chrome and multicolors in the decoration on the TV nightstand. Then for the kitchen the dominant colors are wood, green and orange. And for the rooms you can see several decorations in silver chrome, terracotta and blue.
Tips for combining colors from what I do, start from choosing the dominant basic color for the house, whether minimalist white, white & wood, eclectic or monochrome, etc. which is applied to wall paint or the color of furniture & home materials. then look for color references that match the style of the house, whether Japanese, midcentury or industrial, etc. so that you get the desired color palette according to the character of the house style.

Open Corner Kitchen Set
Previously, this section was just a space filled with random items. But finally I thought, why not make it a beautiful spot? So starting from adding artificial plants, installing small vases, to choosing containers with matching colors.
It turns out that this small change makes the kitchen atmosphere much warmer and more pleasing to the eye. Now every time I cook, I feel more enthusiastic, because this small corner seems to give its own mood booster.
