Journey to find a house 🏠 ✨In choosing a house, we prioritize 4 initial considerations; Budget, space requirements, location & home environment, and developer credibility. For the city of Solo, this developer is one that already has a name. The environment is also relatively safe, lots of greenery with 1 gate system and 24-hour security. So that for households, we feel more at ease because our children can grow and play safely. . ✨In terms of budget, we adjust to space and layout requirements. For a budget under 1 billion in 2022, at that time we decided to choose this type of house for the reasons; minimalist building concept, there are 2 floors with an open space layout, has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom & 1 powder room, and most importantly we still get a back garden. . ✨With a building area of 65 square meters, this house is ideal to meet our needs. Determining where the living room, dining room and kitchen are all sufficient on the 1st floor. I added interior design to the kitchen, sliding garden doors, bedroom interiors and interiors under the stairs for neat storage. The rest we decorate according to taste with selected furniture, and decorative items to create home character and comfort. Another plus is the presence of crossed ventilation from front to back. . Under Stairs Storage Cabinet ✨ ✨We decided to make a cabinet under the stairs. Previously it was only covered with a bookshelf and its function was to store a refrigerator, shoe rack, broom equipment, a warehouse for stock items such as plastic tissues, etc. Another consideration is because sometimes my male cat likes to pee there and likes to mess up things. 😿 (Slide 2 - before photo) ✨Because we wanted to experiment with colors, which are usually just wood motifs, this is the color we chose for Hpl with a matte finish, namely green + terracotta. The color that we feel is still natural & earthtone is also still in harmony with other home decorations such as terracotta pots, terracotta bean bags and green leaf colors. ✨Green for the door of the warehouse cabinet & refrigerator cabinet, then terracotta for the open compartment and Hpl edging. The purpose of making this open compartment is so that we can put decorative items. Affordable material for more aesthetic Staircase walls! 🖼️ . ✨I chose terracotta matt Mosaic tiles to decorate the stair walls. The main reason is because of the beautiful precut 40x40cm design with fake grout, has an ashy motif that is not plain and looks vintage. This ceramic creates vibes to the stair area to the living room and looks warmer, especially when the lights are turned on. ✨The price can be purchased per sheet for 25,000 / sheet. We were lucky to find this unique motif in an affordable online marketplace because it is rarely found in offline stores. ✨Other tips for decorating walls; -selection of materials & colors according to the mood of the tone of the house theme color, here midcentury modern and still in harmony with the color of the HPL cabinet. -supportive lighting. For the stair area, add warm white lights (down light, Led strip or spotlights) -Additional ornamental plants / artificial & wall decorations such as Paintings / Posters.
