🍞 Renter-Friendly Tip: Art Without the Holes
This week’s theme is all about renter-friendly interiors, so I wanted to share one of my favorite little styling hacks 💡
I recently got these adorable large art prints of bakery breads (baguettes, croissants, all the carbs I love 🥐🍞), and instead of drilling holes into the wall, I just perched them on top of my tall bookshelf. Super easy, no tools needed — and it actually creates a more relaxed, layered look that I really love.
The bookshelf acts like a mini gallery shelf, and since the frames are large, they still make a statement without needing to be hung. It’s renter-friendly, damage-free, and totally customizable — I can switch out the art or move things around anytime.
It’s a small change, but it really adds so much personality to the space. And the best part? My walls stay perfectly intact 🤍

As I promised yesterday, we will thoroughly examine Casadelusan's kitchen...
So, we made this kitchen set custom using HPL mix solid surface material for the table top. The HPL code we choose is Golden Cherry TH 202 B.
At first I was really surprised when it was finished and installed, the color was really bright, but it turned out to be suitable when I had the items. The color gradation between the floor, dining table & kitchen set is beautiful! Hihihihi
As for the cupboard details, it's standard... there's a plate rack, cooking utensil hanging rack & empty drawers.

✨ Lazy Room ✨
Why do I call this lazy room area? Because this is where our family is lazy, hehehe.
The place where we lie down while reading books, scrolling through social media, or snacking, sometimes we can actually fall asleep here 😂
This area was previously the area with the most identity crisis because it was just a place to put children's toys and unused items, finally I changed it into a cupboard and bench to relax.
It is located in the living room, so this bench is also an additional sofa when there are many guests at home.
For the wooden cupboard, I customized it at a carpenter near my house, with Dutch teak wood material coated with HPL to save budget, the price is around 3.6 million.
For the bench or sofa, I used a rather hard foam so that it doesn't deflate easily, it was also customized on e-commerce with its cover, while I bought the pillows at another shop.
For the shelves, as usual I use natural varnished Dutch teak wood material and curved black iron brackets, so that it matches the other shelves in this house.
Because my house is not too big, I always use the walls as an area to put things and displays because it is not possible to use another cupboard, for fear that the house will feel too full.
The final touch is to add LED lights and other lights to expose the displays.
With a budget of around 5 million, finally the living room area under the stairs is more functional ✨

The color palette I chose was white, cream, black, and their derivatives. Choose this color because it is neutral and can be combined with any color, and the white base color makes the room feel outside and clean.
How to combine the color with a dominant base color composition of white, then a little more cream, and black as a sweetener so it's not too pale.
Tips for making a room look eye-catching are to choose neutral colors as base colors, don't choose bold and flashy colors because it will make your eyes tired of looking at them, and it will be difficult to match colors for decorative items. So, for decorative items you can actually choose bold colors as long as they are placed correctly and still fit into the theme of the room.
