Stairs - to infinity
This is the stairs area to go up to the 2nd floor which contains 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom
At first, this stair area was plain (like the slide on the developer's kit) and one of the areas that we immediately renovated was this stair area. We covered this stair with a TV backdrop, underneath which we provided a camouflage door leading to the storage area under the stairs.
After we have been living for the past 5 months, one of the jobs we did ourselves (more precisely, my husband) was working on wall batten for the stair walls.
During the end of 2023 holidays we are not doing holiday activities but we are working on a makeover of the stair walls which we call "PERSONAL HOME PROJECT" because of our own idea, our own work and of course with our own funds :)))
The work process takes approximately 3 days, which is done periodically. Starting from making patterns, attaching batten plates, to painting them. And according to the target at the turn of 2024, our stair walls have been completed, and we are very satisfied with the results of our work.
Hopefully in the future every corner of our house can be organized and processed better until it becomes a very good and comfortable residence

One of the “hangout spots” in #rumahlimut is located on the 2nd floor, one floor with the 𝙖𝒓𝙚𝒂 𝒔𝙚𝒓𝙫𝒊𝙘𝒆 separated by a corridor, we call it 𝑷𝙖𝒓𝙡𝒐𝙧 𝙍𝒐𝙤𝒎.
This area is more often used as an area to receive husband's guests because it is directly accessed from the 𝒄𝙖𝒓𝙥𝒐𝙧𝒕 area.
A solid wood 𝘿𝒖𝙩𝒄𝙝-𝙙𝒐𝙤𝒓 painted in duco color 𝙢𝒖𝙩𝒆𝙙 𝙥𝒊𝙣𝒌 becomes the access to this room and we will immediately find an L-shaped 𝒃𝙖𝒏𝙦𝒖𝙚𝒕𝙩𝒆 𝒔𝙚𝒂𝙩𝒊𝙣𝒈 with storage space underneath. Combined with a bistro-style marble table 𝙋𝒂𝙧𝒊𝙨𝒊𝙖𝒏 and a brass chandelier.
In this room, right under the stairs to the living room, there is a toilet with a UPVC sliding door to meet the needs in this area.
We made a balcony for the outdoor space for the aesthetic function of our house facade.

Transforming a Plain Room into an Aesthetic One with Affordable Materials
It went viral some time ago, the use of affordable materials, namely "wall batten" as a substitute for wall panels. And I tried DIY in my room and yeeyyy it's real. Indeed, in terms of material, it is strong and more economical than wall panels. This green wall batten is made of MDF material.
The installation method is also easy, just arrange it according to the model you want, then glue it using sealant glue. After it is installed, paint it according to the desired color. You can save 3-4 times more than using wall panels.
My tip: use a lot of glue and evenly spread it over the entire wall batten area so that it sticks perfectly and does not come off easily.

The new corner becomes my favorite corner
This is a new look that makes this a favorite corner, in one corner of the wall we made a wall decoration in the form of a photo of our family together.
