In-line kitchen ✨
Initially, this kitchen was L-shaped because there was not enough room to move around. Finally, the walls were broken down and the cabinets were removed.
The design is very simple with white & wood nuances and the furniture also becomes decoration on the shelves.

➖ My Dream Kitchen
Previously, the kitchen in this house was just a cast table built by the developer which was requested to have black granite attached to the walls and table top. The first concept was also an open shelves kitchen.
But because it looked full and messy, in the end we installed a full cabinet (kitchen set) to the end of the kitchen area, which functions as storage too, because this house doesn't have a warehouse.
We decided to install a full black cabinet like the one we found inspiration for in the P application, as well as the backsplash which we just changed to a dominant white color to make it look brighter and cleaner.
For kitchen decoration items, we still choose those that are more functional and those that are used more often, without too many variations and not too concerned with aesthetics.

Minimalist kitchen without a kitchen set. This is the kitchen and dining room in our house. For storage in the kitchen we use several storages to make it more organized, some of which we store under the kitchen cabinet. And maximize the function of the kitchen shelves also for storage. Even without a kitchen set, the use of storage in the kitchen makes the arrangement of goods neater.

Realizing a Dream Kitchen that is durable & long-lasting 🫶🏻
Honestly, when making this kitchen, Mba Rimara 100% handed it over to the vendor, coincidentally the vendor is Mba Rimara's uncle. So just trust him.
So, the kitchen in the house. Rimara is made with an L-shaped appearance with dimensions of P: 2.4m W: 3m.
This is a clean kitchen & dirty kitchen, so there is only 1 kitchen in this house.
Built by casting cement so that the structure is stronger & more durable.
* Top Table: White Marble Granite Tile (So sorry Mba Rimara forgot the brand name & product code) 🙏🏻 soon Mba Rimara has time to check the shop
Installed using the adu manis method, so that the front side of the top table looks neat as if without joints.
* Backsplash: Roman Granite D'Metro White size 60x30cm
Installed horizontally according to the motif.
* Upper & lower cabinets: Multiplex Board & coated with HPL Sheets from Taco (code: Treco Wood TH 131 AA)
The wood grain motif is installed horizontally.
* Kitchen floor: Granite tile 60x60 with cream marble motif (again, Mba Rimara forgot the brand name & code 😅)
This is roughly the dream kitchen version of Mba Rimara's family, simple but enough for us.
It has been used for more than 2 years, it is still durable until now, but there are still parts that need maintenance.
Last but not least, if anyone is distracted by the unfinished wall, it is the remnants of the renovation of moving the bathroom door, because the renovation time was tight at that time so it was not possible to paint it. Soon to be tidied up again 😆🫶🏻

To create a kitchen according to our wishes and of course long-lasting, we have to choose good materials. The material used in this kitchen set is multiplex covered with HPL wood motifs from tacos.
Because we had a limited budget but wanted good quality, for the table top we chose a tough top from Aica with a white glossy texture and carara motif.
This tough top is scratch-resistant and heat-resistant too. After 2 years of use, it is still safe.

One of my favorite rooms at home is this kitchen, Alhamdulillah the room is quite spacious so it is free for me and my family to do activities here, sometimes this room is used as a gathering place with friends or family who are visiting, This makes it easier for us to take the dishes that I have prepared ☺️. This kitchen is adjacent to the dining room which is iconic in our house.

The home renovation that we did 2 years ago can be said to be a total renovation that almost changed the entire layout of the house, including the position of the kitchen. Initially the kitchen was located in the back area of the house, during the renovation the kitchen was moved to the front area of the house.
From design to material, we changed it to be better even though the style remains the same, namely a linear kitchen.
This kitchen is quite compact because we maximized it to accommodate all kitchen appliances, so the kitchen looks cleaner and tidier.

Still about the kitchen. So long story short, thank God, when we bought this second hand house, it already had a kitchen set. The kitchen set is still sturdy and good. But unfortunately, the color does not match the color tone of our house paint.
Honestly, before getting to know the world of home decoration, I really didn't know anything, I used to think that the most important thing was that the kitchen was comfortable, clean and could be used well.
But because the kitchen is the heart of the house, I spend more time in this area. Finally, I started searching on social media for ways to makeover a kitchen set without having to dismantle it and adjust our financial budget.
Finally, we decided to install PVC walls in the kitchen set area, and install water and heat resistant kitchen backsplash walls.
Thank God, after it was installed, it turned out to provide a very different atmosphere.
This is a before and after photo of the kitchen set, before it was installed and after the PVC wall stickers were installed. Thank God, it's been running for 1 year and 2 months, the sticker is still durable, stuck firmly and nothing has broken/opened yet.
Suggestions for using PVC stickers: don't expose them to too much water. And if it comes into contact with water, wipe it off immediately.

Because this kitchen is a minimalist kitchen, I didn't use the top cabinet so it didn't look full..
The solution was that I added 2 shelves as a place to place decorations and some spices to make the cooking process easier 😁😁
The total budget spent on decorating this minimalist kitchen was approximately 1 million, excluding making the lower cabinets

If asked what was the main inspiration for this kitchen? I'm definitely really hesitant about the style of decoration I choose for my kitchen.
On the one hand, I like Korean style kitchen decoration, because it is simple and makes the kitchen look more organized and clean. Meanwhile, on the other hand, I am very inspired by the cozy and warm vintage kitchen style.
For the backsplash, I chose a checkered motif combined with a wooden kitchen table and white cabinets to make it really Korean. The kitchen appearance becomes minimalist and looks neater.
Meanwhile, for other decoration items, I prefer to include vintage elements such as bench placement and a dining table that I re-painted in such a way as to make the kitchen look warmer.

Dream Kitchen ✨
The kitchen renovation in this house is considered a full renovation, because the layout of the house has been changed by almost 90%. The kitchen used to be in the back area of the house, but after the renovation the kitchen was placed in the open space area in front of the house. Unfortunately there are no old photos of the previous kitchen 🙏
Slide 2 shows the process of assembling the kitchen set.
During the renovation, we wanted a compact minimalist kitchen. Because we wanted the house to still look neat, we finally managed to accommodate all the kitchen appliances in this kitchen.
