The lighting in the kitchen area was deliberately made with 3 types of lights, I used 3 downlight points, 2 LED strips on the shelf and 2 hanging lights above the island table.

The vocal point in this kitchen area is the island table which is 2m long, half the kitchen area with a width of approximately 4m. The island table was made large so that it would be a place for my family and I to gather not only at meal times, but when the children were discussing, wfh or just welcoming guests. The choice of different colors for the upper and lower cabinets is the vocal point of this kitchen ✨

Open Space Japandi style kitchen
(Make over, Low budget and DIY)😍
At first this kitchen was narrow because it was covered by a dividing wall, in the end it was broken down to become an Open Space kitchen, to fill the empty part of the wall and side room, then we got the idea to make a DIY Low Budget Island Table for my husband and I, with daring capital. Aza looks for inspiration on Pinterest and IG....
We replaced the kitchen set cabinet with a free endorsement paper.

Our kitchen area is 2.5x4 with a peninsula model to add a work area because the table space is narrow. The main budget for the interior was indeed spent on this kitchen because I myself like to cook and hope that many activities can be done with my family in the future in this kitchen. We designed it ourselves by taking inspiration from Pinterest and adjusting it to our size and needs.
The main materials used in the cabinet are multiplex and HPL, especially for the L area table top at the stove and sink using blackgold granite so that it is more durable and not easily dirty. The HPL chosen is still around white, brown, black and gray so that it still matches the interior of the other rooms.
The backsplash uses black mosaic tiles so that it is not easily dirty with a unique shape so that it adds decorative elements and a masculine impression.
We chose a cabinet without a handle so that the look is simpler and cleaner.
The peninsula/mini bar section also uses HPL so that it is lower budget but we made it curved and different heights in design to differentiate functions (the initial plan was for a coffee station) and circulation is more comfortable and safe for children.
For the accent wall bordering the kitchen and dining area, we provide a wood panel that is not too large for the transition of the kitchen set material to the plain wall.

My version of Kitchen Styling ✨
Apart from making up to ceiling cabinets, I customized special storage for kitchen appliances according to my needs at home, such as refrigerators, dispensers and microwaves. Last year, we renovated this kitchen
starting from the backsplash, we chose precut tiles to get a more Japandi impression
Second, Change the color of the HPL to be warmer, we chose Taco Th 852 TM
Third, the top table that originally used multiplex we replaced using Quadra to make it more durable
for the island table top we used multiplex HPL layer Taco Milky Ramone
Fourth, we used vinyl to make the room look more spacious and of course it became more homey
Fifth, we utilized the space under the stairs to be used as a storage cabinet.

This kitchen was finally realized after sacrificing one warehouse room on the right side (see second slide, OK). One thing that makes me satisfied is that I chose to use the services of an interior designer to draw and measure the island table and special cabinets for all the furniture I have, and create a more functional up-to-ceiling cabinet design, so that the kitchen is neatly organized.

Actually, NRHome itself does not have a dining room, but this area is one of the places for us to eat with family.
