𝑳𝙖𝒖𝙣𝒅𝙧𝒚 𝑹𝙤𝒐𝙢 Heading to the 2nd floor 𝙖𝒓𝙚𝒂 𝒔𝙚𝒓𝙫𝒊𝙘𝒆, through a mirrored aluminum door there is a ART bedroom, ART bathroom, laundry area and a warehouse. This 𝒓𝙚𝒂 𝒔𝙚𝒓𝙫𝒊𝙘𝒆 is quite bright even without turning on the lights. The 𝙎𝒌𝙮𝒍𝙞𝒈𝙝𝒕 in the hallway area & laundry area makes it always look 𝒃𝙧𝒊𝙜𝒉𝙩 & 𝙖𝒊𝙧𝒚. Plus a wide window, allowing natural wind & light to flood the room. 🔆 Low Budget Laundry Room 🔆 This laundry room, which is only 160x150 cm in size, is located in the backyard area of my house, right across from the main room. What's low budget here? 1. I bought the wall and floor tiles at Cikuda, the center for cheap tiles and granite, because there are tiles and granite that do not pass factory QC, if it's only for the laundry area, it doesn't matter if the tiles are not precise, ehehehe. 2. This washing machine is almost 10 years old, the color has faded and turned yellow, so I covered its body with cheap sticker wallpaper, the look is quite good. 3. The roof of this laundry room uses fiber which is much cheaper than other transparent roofs. It's true that it doesn't last as long as the expensive ones, but for me it's enough for now. The previous fiber roof, thank God, lasted more than 5 years. 4. The clothesline pole that extends to the left is made of light steel from the roof, then painted white, so it can be used for drying clothes, lol. 5. Because there is no budget for the upper cabinet, I use wooden shelves as a storage place. 6. The white storage box in the top row is a used ice cream box, widely sold on e-commerce! Because we have limited space, we really utilize this area to be very functional: a small service area! Even for drying clothes, we choose a folding hanging clothesline that doesn't take up much space (bonus: still aesthetic!). We also use a washing machine rack to store cleaning equipment and tools. LAUNDRY ROOM MAKEOVER ON A BUDGET This laundry room has undergone one renovation after being used for 6 years. The floor still uses old ceramics, only the appearance has been changed by painting it specially with ceramics. The roof was completely dismantled and replaced with a new one because the old one leaked and had many holes in several places. The walls were repainted and a PVC ceiling was added to make it cleaner and more waterproof.
