#KacaTempered

The facade of the house with a classic modern American style concept was rebuilt in early 2024, because it was originally an old house. I chose the concept of a modern classic house because in my opinion, a classic house not only looks elegant but also timeless, with a size of 13 x 11.5 meters
🚪White wall paint, iron doors and black iron fences with ornaments are the characteristics of a classic house
🛖Using glossy ceramic tiles in choco brown makes the house look more contrasting and aesthetic
🌳Given grass and trees in the front yard, so that the house looks cooler and fresher 🍃
🪟Large glass windows allow sunlight to enter more optimally and the atmosphere in the house is brighter 🌞

The use of polycarbonate and glass for skylights has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages of Polycarbonate:
1. Lightweight
2. Not easily broken
3. Thermal insulation that helps maintain indoor temperature.
4. Many types of polycarbonate have a UV Protection layer
5. Design Flexibility

Disadvantages:
1. Can be scratched more easily than glass
2. Although resistant to impact, polycarbonate can deform at very high temperatures.
3. Polycarbonate may not last as long as glass and can yellow over time.

Advantages of Glass:
1. Glass provides a more elegant and modern appearance, as well as being clear and transparent.
2. Glass is very weather resistant and will not change color over time.
3. Glass has a surface that is more resistant to scratches than polycarbonate.
4. Coated glass or double glazing can provide good thermal insulation.

Disadvantages:
1. Glass is heavier than polycarbonate, which can make installation difficult.
2. Glass can shatter if hit hard, which can be a safety hazard.
3. Generally, glass can be more expensive than polycarbonate, both in terms of material and installation costs.

The choice between polycarbonate and glass for skylights depends on your specific needs, budget, and design preferences ✨
