It turns out that combining brick and roster can be the right choice. This narrow land is only 2 x 1.5 meters which we call "mini entrance/terrace"
We also put some plants so that it can be cooler
We often use it as a place to sit when wearing shoes or just relaxing in the afternoon.
In addition, it also functions for air circulation in and out of the house.

Having a spacious room was our dream before the renovation. When the architect offered an open space concept, we immediately agreed and requested a high ceiling.
So this open space room measures 6x4 meters with a ceiling height of 3 meters and 7.5 meters (the ceiling height is not the same because it follows the shape of the sloping roof of the house).
Open space is indeed a solution for houses with limited land like ours.

Amidst the onslaught of vinyl/SPC flooring, for this 1st floor we still choose to use granite tiles for reasons of low maintenance 😁
We chose the glossy granite tile size 60x60 cm so that the elegant look is more visible.
So far, it is very low maintenance and is definitely durable.
